Minnesota Republican leader cites accomplishments of recent sessionMOORHEAD – Taking the state of Minnesota to a $1.2 billion surplus after years of multibillion-dollar deficits was one of the biggest accomplishments of the recently ended Minnesota Legislative session.
That is according to State Senate Majority Leader Dave Senjem, R-Rochester, who stopped in Moorhead this morning.
He said another accomplishment was a change in how people receive permits from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, which Senjem said will speed up the process.
