Club for Growth backs Cramer in House raceFARGO – Republican challenger Kevin Cramer has picked up another notable endorsement in his bid for North Dakota’s U.S. House seat.
Club for Growth – a tea party, conservative political action committee – announced Thursday it is backing Cramer in the June primary contest against Brian Kalk, the North Dakota Republican Party’s endorsed candidate.
Club for Growth is among the most powerful conservative super PACs, with more than $5.9 million raised so far this cycle.
In endorsing Cramer, Club for Growth President Chris Chocola said in a statement today: “We are confident that he will stand on principle for pro-growth policies and against the liberals in both parties.”
The June 12 primary between Kalk and Cramer will determine the official Republican candidate who will take on Democrat Pam Gulleson in November.
On Wednesday, FreedomWorks super-PAC endorsed Cramer.
