24-year-old Frazee man reported missing after leaving group home

FRAZEE, Minn. – A 24-year-old Frazee man has been reported missing, according to a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said Kevin Jacob Niedzwiecki left the Wymer Lake area group home he was staying at sometime between midnight Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday.

The sheriff’s office started a ground, water and air search for him, but

Niedzwiecki had not been located as of Sunday night, and the sheriff’s office is requesting the public’s help.

Anyone who lives in the Wymer Lake area in rural Frazee/Vergas is asked to watch for Niedzwiecki and check all outbuildings. He used to live in the Long Prairie area and may try to return home, the release said.

The sheriff’s office said Niedzwiecki is a vulnerable adult and may be confused about his location or try to hide from rescue personnel.

He’s about 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with short dark brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a plaid long-sleeve shirt and possibly a Carhart-style jacket.
