Homeless man in Bismarck impersonates police, gets arrested

BISMARCK, N.D. — A homeless man accused of kicking at a Bismarck couple's door and ordering them to come out with their hands up faces a felony charge.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/KWmx5X) that 52-year-old Terrance Gourneau was charged Friday with felony attempted criminal trespass and a misdemeanor charge of impersonating officials. His bond was set at $15,000.

Authorities say a couple called police Thursday around 5:30 p.m. to report a man banging on their door and trying to kick it in. The man said he had a search warrant and ordered the couple to come out with their hands up.
