Six hires, promotions at Butler Machinery Co.

Butler Machinery Co. has hired and/or promoted six associates in the corporate office in Fargo.

Those hired are Barry Welch, director of after sales support; Kyle Ostenson, ag division sales assistant; Alan Imholte, warranty analyst; Ryan Mindemann, information technology supervisor; JDee Leary, credit assistant; and Jeff Schreier, mining/heavy technical communicator;

Welch started with Butler Machinery in the parts department at the Fargo location. In 1988, he was promoted to credit coordinator and in 1991, to credit manager at the corporate location. In 1995, he was promoted to operations manager in Fargo. He has a degree in industrial technology and electronics management from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Ostenson graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics.

Imholte has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. He previously was a management trainee for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Fargo.

Mindemann most recently was a network/systems administrator at Butler Machinery, and Leary previously worked as a receptionist at Butler.

Schreier has been with Butler for more than 15 years, first as a field service technician and most recently as the Fargo heavy shop lead.

Ben Sullivan promoted at Western State Bank

Ben Sullivan has been promoted to vice president/retail banking manager at Western State Bank, West Fargo.

He has served as the retail banking manager for the past four years.

Sullivan graduated from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn., with degrees in economics, management and history.

He previously worked for Wells Fargo for six years in various capacities including teller, banker and service manager.

United Blood Services hires 3 new employees

United Blood Services in Fargo has hired Linda Elliott as a donor relations specialist, Tanya Boone as a laboratory technician and Leah Stoner as a donor care specialist.

Elliott has more than 30 years of customer service experience and previously owned and operated a mortgage company in Fargo.

Nate Evenson hired as IT manager, analyst

Wallwork Truck Center in Fargo has hired Nate Evenson as information technology manager/business analyst.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University.

Evenson started his IT career with Wallwork Truck Center, and for the past five years, he worked for Microsoft as a senior technical consultant.

Eventide at Sheyenne Crossings hires two

Eventide at Sheyenne Crossings, West Fargo, has hired Maren Gemar as executive director and Erin Steinberger as home care coordinator

Gemar graduated from Jamestown (N.D.) College. She previously worked for The Good Samaritan Society as administrator at locations in McAllen, Texas, and Barnesville, Minn., and Pelican Rapids, Minn.

Steinberger graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She was previously employed at Sanford Health and Bethany Retirement Living, both Fargo.

Plains hires McNelly as youth program manager

The Plains Art Museum, Fargo, has named Brianna McNelly manager of youth programs.

McNelly will coordinate educational programming in the Katherine Kilbourne Burgum Center for Creativity, which will open this fall.

She previously worked as a museum educator at the Dickinson (N.D.) Museum Center and as a paraprofessional for special-needs students for the Battle Lake (Minn.) School District.

A native of Battle Lake, she is a graduate of Concordia College with degrees in art history and history.

Choice Financial hires customer service rep

Tim Ziemba has joined Choice Financial as a frontline customer service representative at the branch at 4501 23rd Ave. S., Fargo.

Ziemba is a graduate of Valley City (N.D.) State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and management.

Ashton Hansen joins Preference Personnel

Ashton Hansen has joined the professional career placement team at Preference Personnel, Fargo, as a recruiter/

placement consultant.

She focuses on mid- and upper-level positions in a variety of disciplines.

Orth joins PACES as manager/estimator

PACES Lodging Corp., Fargo, has hired Michael Orth as a project manager/estimator.

Orth has a master’s degree in economics from North Dakota State University and a background in residential and commercial excavating and commercial and multifamily contracting.

Rosewood on Broadway names Tony Keelin CEO

Tony Keelin has been named chief executive officer for Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, which is part of the SMP Health System.

Keelin has 18 years of experience in the long-term care industry. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary and is a licensed North Dakota nursing home administrator.

Alicia Martel promoted at Centre Inc.

Alicia Martel has been promoted to residential specialist II at Centre Inc., Fargo.

Martel will graduate this month from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She has been with Centre Inc. for a year as a residential specialist I in the female unit.

Moore Engineering hires four in West Fargo

Moore Engineering Inc., West Fargo, has hired Jeremy Dewald as a graduate engineer in the municipal department, Jordan Odden as a survey crew instrument operator, Murali Vegi as a water resources engineer and Tyler Johnson as a professional engineer in the water resources department.

Dewald received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University. He was previously employed at Lightowler Johnson Associates.

Odden received an associate degree in civil engineering and land surveying from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton. He was previously employed by the North Dakota Department of Transportation, Bismarck.

Vegi received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in India and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He previously worked as an engineer in training for JEO Consulting Group, Lincoln.

Johnson received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from NDSU. He was previously employed at Cardino WRG, Scottsdale, Ariz.

Houston Engineering in Fargo hires Orcutt

Kara Orcutt has joined Houston Engineering’s Fargo office as a proposal coordinator.

She is a native of Steele, N.D., and graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications.

Orcutt has three years of previous proposal coordinating experience.

Kramer joins brokerage firm as vice president

National insurance brokerage, e4 Brokerage, Fargo, has appointed Sean Kramer as vice president of business development.

Prior to joining e4 Brokerage, Kramer worked for American Senior Benefits in Florida. He holds life and health insurance licenses in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.

Kramer, originally from Celina, Ohio, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics and commercial aviation from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. He attended U.S. Navy Officer Candidate School, where he graduated first in his class and went on to pilot an F-18 aircraft. He earned the rank of lieutenant before retiring from the Navy.

Elements hires Paradis as personal trainer

Elements Diet and Fitness for Women, Fargo, has hired Andrea Paradis as a personal trainer.

She has worked for Elements in the member service department for two years.

She received personal trainer certification from the American Fitness Association of America and is also a certified yoga instructor with the Yandara Yoga Institute.

Discovery Benefits in Fargo has hired Jessica Johnson as a partner account executive, Amber Broderson as a BPO implementation manager, Bobbi Jo Unterseher as a claims adjudicator, Ivana Simic as a benefits implementation manager, Alan Thomas and Mike Kloberdanz as participant services specialists and Angie Kub as a COBRA accounting specialist.

Jason Ridler has joined Nardini Fire Equipment, Fargo, as a service technician.

Ridler, a native of Moorhead, most recently worked as the outside warehouse supervisor at Reile’s Transfer, Fargo.

TMI Hospitality hires Billing, promotes Klug

TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Tami Billing as vice president of accounting and promoted Heather Klug to assistant to the chief financial officer.

Billing was previously director of internal audit for RDO Equipment Co., Fargo Billing is a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Klug joined TMI Hospitality in 2011 as a purchasing assistant. For nine years prior to joining TMI, she worked for U.S. Bank. She is a native of Grand Forks and a graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

Sundog announces five new hires in Fargo

Sundog, Fargo, has hired Brianne Carlsrud as a social analyst, Jason Jacobson as a creative writer, Jodi McGregor as a project manager, and Susanna Oliver and Saurabh Tyagi as associate web developers.

Carlsrud was previously the marketing coordinator for the Historical and Cultural Society of Cass Clay. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a degree in mass communications.

Jacobson previously worked for four years at Absolute Marketing Group, Moorhead. He earned a mass communications degree from MSUM.

McGregor has more than five years of marketing and management experience from her work with Microsoft companies including APAC and SEI. She attended Jamestown (N.D.) College and the University of North Dakota.

Oliver spent the past two years as a web developer and graphic artist for the USDA-ARS Research Unit. She recently graduated from Minnesota State community and Technical College, Detroit Lakes, with an associate’s degree in web development.

Saruabh has advertising and marketing experience from working at Results Unlimited, Fargo, and Tenacious, Minneapolis. He has an advanced diploma in computer science and is pursuing a degree in computer information technology from MSUM.

Heritage Homes hires Engel as sales specialist

Heather Engel has joined Heritage Homes in Fargo as a new home sales specialist.

Engel is a graduate of the University of Mary with a bachelor’s degree in business management and has more than eight years of personal and commercial insurance experience.

Keller named VP, audit manager at State Bank

Joni Keller has accepted the position of vice president/quality control audit manager at State Bank and Trust, Fargo.

Keller, a native of McVille, N.D., is a graduate of Mayville (N.D.) State University with degrees in business administration and accounting.

She worked for 12 years as an auditor and banking regulator, and for the past 15 years was the auditor and compliance officer at First National Bank, Hawley, Minn.

Blonde Ambition hires Chelsey Moch as stylist

Blonde Ambition Salon, Fargo, has hired Chelsey Moch as a stylist.

Moch, originally from Edgeley, N.D., earned a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead and later graduated from The Salon Professional Academy, Fargo.

Vanity’s corporate office in Fargo hires 3

Vanity’s corporate office in Fargo has hired Lacie Hansen as an assistant buyer in the merchandising department and Karen McInnes as payroll coordinator. Karla Underdahl has joined eVanity.com as inventory assistant.

Hansen gained several years of retail experience while working at Herberger’s and Forever 21. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in apparel studies and public relations.

McInnes previously worked in payroll at Northern Improvement Co. She graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College with an associate’s degree as a secretary/receptionist.

Underdahl previously worked for Multiband Corp. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in theater arts.

Kelsey returns to RLE as project manager

Kim Kelsey has returned to the RLE Group in Fargo as a project manager.

She has 13 years of experience in the architecture and construction industry.

She is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, with a master’s degree in architecture.

Hodny joins Early Intervention Partners

Early Intervention Partners, Fargo, a provider of services for children from birth to age 3 who have a developmental delay or disability, has hired Karina Hodny as an early interventionist.

Hodny received a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders and a master’s degree in early childhood special education from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

She has nine years of experience in various roles of early intervention programming. Her areas of interest include emerging literacy and parent involvement.

Wild promoted at Fargo architectural firm

Wild and Associates, Fargo, has promoted Mike Wild to executive vice president.

Originally from Valley City, N.D., Wild graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in architecture.

He has worked at Wild and Associates for 15 years on commercial, financial and residential projects.
