81-year-old Climax man killed in a lawnmower accidentCLIMAX, Minn. – An 81-year-old man is dead after a lawn mower accident near here Wednesday.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office was called to a rural home shortly after 1 p.m.
DuWayne Rarick was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rarick was taken to the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks for an autopsy.
His cause of death was found to trauma from the accident that complicated medical issues he already had, according to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
