Commencement set Friday at North Dakota State College of Science

WAHPETON – Commencement ceremonies for 680 North Dakota State College of Science graduates will be at 3 p.m. Friday.

Former U.S. Sen. Byron Dorgan, who retired last year, will receive an honorary associate degree. Dr. Rodney Casad, a longtime faculty member in the school’s dental department who retired in 1994, will receive an emeritus distinction.

The ceremonies will be in the Ed Were Arena on campus. Student Lyndsey Herda will give the invocation, with remarks from Student Senate president Katrina Jangula.
