Fugitive Focus: Robin Starr McGillis

Local and federal authorities are seeking to apprehend a 20-year-old Fargo man who is wanted on a felony charge of escape.

According to court documents in Cass County:

On April 4, Robin Starr McGillis signed out of Centre Inc., a Fargo detention center, and he failed to return as scheduled that evening.

McGillis had been ordered to serve the remainder of his prison sentence at Centre after he was released March 29.

In fall 2011, McGillis was sentenced to two years in prison on a federal criminal trespass conviction in Grand Forks County.

Following his escape from Centre, a warrant was issued on April 12 for McGillis’ arrest.

A search of North Dakota court records showed McGillis also has multiple misdemeanor convictions in Devils Lake and Minot, including charges of unlawful entry and resisting arrest.
