Three arrested in fight outside Moorhead bar
According to a Moorhead police report on the incident:
Authorities received a report of an assault about 1:35 a.m. that was said to have occurred in the parking lot of Jerry’s Bar, 1500 11th St. N., in Moorhead.
Officers were called to the scene for a fight, but no combatants could be located.
A 30-year-old male from Moorhead contacted police about 3:54 a.m.
The man had a laceration to his face caused by being punched with brass knuckles and he had a laceration on his left forearm from a knife.
An investigation led to the arrest of three people, identified by police as Jennifer Marie Torres, 25, and Jose Humberto Torres, 21, both of Fargo; and Azarel Brace Chappell, 25, of Glyndon.
All three were being held in the Cass County Jail on Sunday night, according to Moorhead police, who said a report was being forwarded to the Clay County Attorney’s Office seeking charges of second-degree assault; terroristic threats; and aiding and abetting.
