Prairie Public to screen ‘Faces of the Oil Patch’FARGO – Prairie Public will host a free public screening of its newest television production, “Faces of the Oil Patch,” at 7 p.m. Thursday at North Dakota State University’s Century Theater in the Memorial Union.
The screening will be preceded by a reception from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Memorial Union Gallery.
“Faces of the Oil Patch” uses images by noted still photographer Wayne Gudmundson to describe the new landscape of the Oil Patch, the areas in and around Williston, Watford City, Tioga, Stanley, Newtown, Parshall and Fort Berthold, accompanied by the words of the people who live and work in these communities.
The documentary will premiere on Prairie Public Television at 9 p.m. May 16.
