Prosecutors dismiss charges against locked-out Crystal worker in 'keying' caseMOORHEAD – Prosecutors have dropped a charge against locked-out American Crystal Sugar worker Bradley Knapper stemming from an incident on Dec. 20 when he was accused of scratching a replacement worker’s car.
Knapper, 41, of Moorhead was charged in January in Clay County District Court with felony criminal damage to property.
Prosecutors agreed to drop the charge if Knapper pays $1,400 for the cost of damages, his attorney, Brian Toay, said Friday.
Toay said Knapper agreed to the amount because it would cost less than taking the case to trial.
