Fargo man gets probation in sex assault of teen girlFARGO – A Fargo man accused of touching a 14-year-old girl in a sexual manner last December when he was 25 years old won’t face additional jail time after pleading guilty to three misdemeanor charges.
Robenson Tanazy pleaded guilty Monday to contributing to the deprivation of a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and sexual assault in Cass County District Court.
Judge Steven McCullough sentenced Tanazy to one year in prison with 337 days suspended and 28 days credit for time served.
Tanazy also must serve one year of probation, pay $760 in fines and fees and report for a chemical dependency evaluation. He had faced up to 20 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted of an amended Class A felony charge of gross sexual imposition.
According to the police report, the 14-year-old girl told police Tanazy entered her bedroom and touched her over her clothing and blanket.
