Pride of Dakota Spring Showcase set in WillistonWILLISTON, N.D. — The Pride of Dakota program is bringing its Spring Showcase back to Williston.
The event that began last year is expected to draw about 90 North Dakota companies to the oil patch city on Friday and Saturday. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says they will display everything from wine to works of art.
Pride of Dakota helps businesses market products made in North Dakota. More than 500 companies are members. The program also holds Holiday Showcases in Fargo, Grand Forks, Minot and Bismarck during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday periods, as well as a Harvest Showcase in Dickinson in September.
Goehring says the first Spring Showcase in Williston last year drew more than 1,400 people in its single day. The two-day event this year is at the Raymond Family Community Center.
