ESGR honoring backers of Guard, ReservesFARGO – The North Dakota Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve group will host a “Lunch with the Boss” at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fargo Air Museum.
James Rebholz, ESGR national chairman, and Lt. Cmdr. Jeremiah Minner, executive officer of the USS North Dakota, a nuclear attack submarine now under construction, are scheduled to speak at the invitation-only event.
The Fargo Police Department, Bobcat and Simplex Grinnell will be honored with the state ESGR committee’s Pro Patria Award.
The award is bestowed on employers that provide exceptional support of national defense through leadership and policies that support employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
The event will also feature the signing of a Statement of Support by Scheels All Sports, saying Scheels will honor and enforce employment rights of employees who serve in the military.
ESGR is a Department of Defense organization that promotes a culture in which all U.S. employers support and value the military service of their employees.
