Otter Tail Power names Rudolf vice presidentFERGUS FALLS, Minn. – Otter Tail Power Co. President and CEO Chuck MacFarlane has named Jan Rudolf as vice president for energy supply.
Rudolf will fill the role vacated by retiring Senior Vice President Ward Uggerud. The change will be effective Tuesday.
“Jan’s proven leadership, performance focus, and experience in all the major components of the energy supply area, along with his relationships with plant co-owners, uniquely qualify him for this role,” MacFarlane said.
Rudolf has served as manager of Coyote Station at Beulah, N.D., since 1998.
In his new position, he will be accountable for the Hoot Lake plant at Fergus Falls, the Big Stone plant at Milbank, S.D., as well as Coyote Station and Otter Tail Power’s supply services and environmental services areas.
In accepting the appointment, Rudolf said: “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work with Otter Tail Power Company’s executive team and the other employees in the energy supply area.
“After 13 years at Coyote, I’m certainly going to miss daily interaction with those employees but am looking forward to continuing to work with them in this new role,” Rudolf said.
