Six new hires at Discovery Benefits

Discovery Benefits in Fargo has hired Abby Schmidt and Jessica Diederich as benefit account managers, John Magnuson as a consumer services supervisor, David Gess as a sales director, Jessica Shawn as a human resources generalist and Stephanie Solberg as a COBRA account manager.

Borgen, Schumacher hired at RDO in Fargo

RDO Equipment Co., Fargo, has hired Matt Borgen as an information systems support specialist and Scott Schumacher as an account manager for RDO Integrated Controls, the machine control and positioning division of RDO Equipment Co.

Borgen was previously employed in information technology at Essentia Health. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Minnesota State University Moorhead and an applied science degree in computer and network security from Minnesota State Community and Technical College.

Schumacher graduated with a marketing degree from Concordia College and previously worked as a sales coordinator for the company’s Grand Forks store. His sales territory includes Fargo-Moorhead, Grand Forks and Aberdeen, S.D.

Morris named school safety coordinator

Tara Morris has joined the Cass County Sheriff’s Office as the unified school response safety coordinator.

Morris has worked for the Fargo Police Department since 2001. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.

Coler Hanson hired as therapist at The Village

Emily Coler Hanson has joined The Village Family Service Center as a family-based therapist in the Fargo office.

She is a licensed therapist and earned bachelor and master degrees from North Dakota State University.

Coler Hanson specializes in adolescents, youths in transition, structural family therapy, nurtured heart approach and solution-focused approaches.

Fargo law firm names attorneys, paralegals

Fredrikson & Byron, Fargo, has hired four attorneys, including William L. Guy III and F. John Williams III, who have joined the firm as officers, and Jessica L. Foss and Amy L. Jenson, who join the firm as associates.

MaKell Baumgartner, Andrea Jenson-Packer, Deborah Moeller, Kim Thompson and Joan Wrolstad have been hired as paralegals.

Gulsvig joins Park Co. Realtors as sales agent

Dar Gulsvig has joined Park Co. Realtors in Fargo as a sales associate.

Gulsvig attended North Dakota State University and has worked with Community First Bank and Moorhead Public Schools.

Ulteig hires Michels as drafting, design tech

Ulteig has hired Craig Michels as a CADD technician in protection and control in the Fargo office.

Michels earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture and environmental design from North Dakota State University.

He previously worked for Midwest TeleServices International as general manager.

Gruer joins therapy firm as office assistant

Amanda Gruer has joined Pediatric Therapy Partners in Fargo as an office assistant.

She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from North Dakota State University.

Land Elements hires Zimmerman, Axtman

Land Elements, a landscape architecture firm in Fargo, has hired Laura Zimmerman as a project manager and Jake Axtman as a landscape architect.

Zimmerman most recently worked as a landscape designer with Gertens in Inver Grove Heights, Minn. She earned bachelor degrees in landscape architecture and environmental design from North Dakota State University and is a Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association Certified Professional.

Axtman will be representing projects in the western region of North Dakota. He is a registered landscape architect in North Dakota and a NDSU graduate. He has seven years of experience, most recently working with the Swenson Hagen engineering firm in Bismarck.

Two new agents join Prudential Premier

Pam Hanson and James Hand have joined the sales team at Prudential Premier Real Estate, Fargo.

Hanson has more than seven years of real estate experience and several years of marketing experience.

Hand is a recent graduate of North Dakota State University with a degree in business management.

Aune hired as mortgage loan officer assistant

Brenda Aune has joined First International Bank and Trust in Fargo as a mortgage loan officer assistant.

Aune has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. She attended Mayville State University and Lake Havasu City (Ariz.) Community College.

Andrea Denny has been hired as the business office assistant at Fraser Ltd., Fargo

Denny received an associate’s degree in accounting from Northland Community and Technical College, East Grand Forks, Minn.

Precision Dental hires Johnson in marketing

Precision Dental Laboratories, Fargo, has hired Ian Johnson as a marketing coordinator.

Johnson graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College with a degree in sales and marketing.

Nikle named a WINGS early success coach

Sarah Nikle, an Edward Jones financial adviser in West Fargo, has been named a Women’s Initiative for New Growth Strategies early success coach and will prepare new associates as they study for a career as an Edward Jones financial adviser.

The Edward Jones WINGS program focuses on the recruitment, retention and leadership development of female financial advisers.
