Corps commander to stop in FargoST. PAUL – The district commander for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be in Fargo-Moorhead next week to meet with local officials on the Red River diversion project.
Col. Michael Price will visit with the corps’ design team and local consultants May 1-2.
Price and members of the design team will tour the area and discuss design topics related to the proposed diversion.
Design work is ongoing for the project, which has been approved by the Army Corps.
The Red River diversion needs congressional authorization and funding before any construction can begin.
