Dent teenager injured in rollover after swatting at bugs

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – A 17-year-old from Dent was injured this morning in Otter Tail County after she swatted at bugs in her car and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll over, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Danielle R. Peterson was traveling on Highway 108 near Star Lake when the incident happened, the State Patrol said.

Peterson was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected out the driver-side window, according to the State Patrol report.

The report said Peterson’s injuries were not life threatening.
