New Gophers athletic director Teague to be paid $400K, incentives up to $100K

MINNEAPOLIS — New University of Minnesota athletic director Norwood Teague will be paid a base annual salary of $400,000, with incentives that could add up to another $100,000.

A copy of Teague's contract was released Monday by the university.

The salary is at the low end of the range for Big Ten athletic directors.

It allows for annual raises to be decided by President Eric Kaler.

Teague also gets the use of a car, up to $10,000 for family travel to and from university sports events and some ticket privileges.
