Maples’ home run lifts UMKC softball over Bison

FARGO – Marlee Maples’ two-run home run in the 12th inning propelled Missouri-Kansas City over North Dakota State 6-4 in Summit League softball on Sunday.

Jamie Gay and Brea Konz both hit home runs for the Bison (30-17, 14-4 Summit).

Maples’ homer ended the longest game played at the Ellig Sports Complex and tied the longest game in NDSU softball history.
