Link helps Cobbers pick up split in softball twin bill

MINNEAPOLIS – Joelle Link drove in the winning run for Concordia on an RBI groundout in the top of the eighth inning to propel the Cobbers past Augsburg 7-6 in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference softball Sunday.

Kaia Sele hit a home run and finished with four RBIs for Concordia (8-20, 6-8 MIAC).

Auggies pitcher Kylee Persing allowed one run in a complete-game 2-1 victory in the second game of the doubleheader.
