Namedroppers (April 15, 2012)MAKING THE GRADE: Diane Hahn, West Fargo, was named to the fall semester dean’s list at Carthage College, Kenosha, Wis.
OUTSTANDING!: Members of the Sparx Dance Team of Halftime by Sheri Dance Studio West Fargo were recently chosen to attend the 2012 All Star Dancers National Dance Convention in New York. The team was selected based on their performance at the Applause Dance Competition in Minneapolis. While in New York, they will attend a dance workshop and mock audition taught by the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. They will also tour master dance classes at the Broadway Dance Center and attend classes taught by Broadway performers. Members of the team are: Erica Enderud, Samantha Heath, Mckenna Briggs, Megan Johnson, Tommi Johnson, Alex Rolstad, Brooke Enge, Emily Stillwell, Brooke Skogen, Bella Kirklewski, Riley Reichling, Dallas Tufty, Talon Stroh, Keoona Franklin, Sarah Olson, Kyra Hillman, Madisyn Edmisten and Brianna Woeller.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS: The Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho at North Dakota State University has awarded academic scholarships to Ross Young of Fargo and Cody Kallock of Oslo, Minn. Alpha Gamma Rho is a social and professional organization for young men pursuing an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in agriculture, food, fiber, life sciences, natural resources, forestry, environmental or related agricultural fields.
INTERNS AND CLERKS: Steven Lehrke has been hired as an intern in the internal audit department for Otter Tail Corporation. Lehrke is pursing degrees in accounting and finance at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
HONOR SOCIETIES: Jason Korinek, Moorhead, has accepted membership into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Membership is by invitation only and is based on grade point average and class standing.
RECENT GRADUATES: Patrick Fee, Moorhead, and Adam Fullerton, West Fargo, graduated in December from Metropolitan State University, St. Paul.
