Two arrested at Fargo sobriety checkpointFARGO – Two people were arrested for drunken driving during a sobriety checkpoint conducted last week by the Fargo Police Department in conjunction with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
The checkpoint took place from 11 p.m. Thursday to 2:20 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of South University Drive.
Of the 307 vehicles that entered the checkpoint, 18 were flagged for further testing. Two people were arrested for DUI, one minor was cited for possession of alcohol and one person was ticketed for having an open container of alcohol.
The Fargo Police Department has conducted 54 sobriety checkpoints since October 2004, resulting in 164 arrests for DUI.
