UND associate head coach is candidate at MSU-Mankato

GRAND FORKS – Success has followed Cary Eades from his playing days at the University of North Dakota to his coaching days at Warroad (Minn.) High School and with the Sioux.

It’s no surprise that he’s become a hot coaching commodity around the country.

Now, there’s a job that has Eades’ interest.

The UND associate head coach has applied for the opening at Minnesota State-Mankato, which began a national search for a coach after firing Troy Jutting on Sunday night.

“I’m very happy here, but these opportunities don’t come up very often so I need to look closely at it,” Eades said.
