Children’s clothing retailer Carter’s openingFARGO – Carter’s, a popular children’s clothing retailer, will open a new store Thursday in the TJ Maxx Plaza at 4340 13th Ave. S. in Fargo.
The location will sell Carter’s brand clothing, select Melissa & Doug toys, and other baby toys and accessories.
Clothing sizes will range from newborn to size 6X in girls’ and 7 in boys’.
The Atlanta-based company operates more than 500 Carter’s and OshKosh B’gosh stores nationwide, with new stores opening each week. This will be the first to open in North Dakota.
Laurie Ford, district manager for Carter’s and OshKosh B’gosh, credited the success of the company to its reputation for selling high-quality play clothes.
“That’s why moms flock to us,” she said. “Our clothing will last through multiple kids in a family without wearing out.”
Customers will have the opportunity to get an early peek at the store during a friends and family event slated for 5 p.m. Wednesday.
