Wahpeton 24-year-old pleads guilty in attempted murder caseWAHPETON, N.D. – A 24-year-old Wahpeton man accused of stabbing his neighbor last October changed his plea to guilty at a hearing Wednesday morning in Richland County Court, Assistant State’s Attorney Ron McBeth said.
Patrick Wolfgram pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted murder for allegedly stabbing 26-year-old Trista Martin several times in the head, neck and back as she smoked a cigarette outside their apartment building on Oct. 14.
At the hearing, Judge Richard Grosz ordered a presentencing investigation for Wolfgram, McBeth said. A sentencing date is pending.
