Contributions (March 31, 2012)Gate City Bank donates to area organizations
In the past several months, Gate City Bank has donated $346,800 to area organizations.
Local donations included contributions to: Bluestem Center for the Arts, Cass County Youth Commission, Cowboy Up Ride Against Cancer, Dakota Medical Foundation Lend A Hand Program.
Fargo Air Museum, Fargo Jaycees, Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre, Fargo Moorhead Emergency Food Pantry, Fargo Moorhead Haiti Medical Mission.
Fargo-Moorhead Opera, Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, Fargo North Baseball, Fill the Dome, Gourmet Soup Kitchen, Handi-Wheels, Holiday Homes of Hope, Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest, Moorhead Blues Legion baseball team, MSCTC Foundation, MSUM Alumni Foundation, NDSU Development Foundation, NDSU Research and Technology Park.
New Life Center; Oak Grove Lutheran School, Rebuilding Together of Fargo Moorhead, River Valley Church Food Pantry, Ronald McDonald House Charities, The Christmas Gift, The Salvation Army, TNT Kid’s Fitness and Gymnastics Academy, United Way of Cass Clay and YWCA Cass Clay.
Additional donations were made to regional organizations, including: American Heart Association Midwest Affiliate, Boy Scouts of America Northern Lights Council, Catholic Charities of North Dakota, North Dakota Association for the Blind, North Dakota Veterans Cemetery Foundation, North Dakota Business Challenge, North Dakota Caring for Children Foundation, North Dakota LifeSmarts, State Historical Society of North Dakota, The God’s Child Project and United Sportsmen of North Dakota.
Western State Bank donates to health fund
Western State Bank, West Fargo, has contributed $1,000 to support the “Share the Health” fund at the Family HealthCare Center in Fargo.
The fund helps pay the health costs of patients who may not be able to pay the fee for a medical provider visit.
AgCountry donates to area food pantries
AgCountry Farm Credit Services recently donated more than $14,000 to the Great Plains Food Bank and Emergency Food Pantry, Fargo, Churches United for the Homeless and Dorothy Day House, Moorhead, and the Hawley (Minn.) Food Pantry.
This is the 22nd year AgCountry has donated funds to local hunger relief efforts.
