NDSU-UND baseball series set for Fargo, Grand Forks

FARGO – The spring weather has forced the University of North Dakota and North Dakota State to change their venue for its four-game baseball series. Only this time it’s a positive move.

The teams will play in Fargo and Grand Forks instead of the scheduled series at the Metrodome in Minneapolis on Sunday and Monday. UND will host the Bison for a single game at 2 p.m. on Friday.

The teams will play a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday at Newman Outdoor Field and return for a single game at UND at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The longe-range forecast Friday calls for a high of 64 degrees and a high of 69 on Saturday.

“The fields are playable, which they’re usually not,” said NDSU head coach Tod Brown.
