Neighboring Moorhead restaurants burglarizedMOORHEAD – Burglaries have been reported at two restaurants in downtown’s historic Kassenborg Block building here since Friday, and police are investigating how the culprit or culprits got inside.
In both cases, an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen, Moorhead police Sgt. Deric Swenson said.
The first burglary was reported at about 10 a.m. Friday at John Alexander’s, 315 Main Ave.
Police were notified of the second burglary at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at the adjoining Juano’s Mexican Restaurant, Swenson said.
“We’re just trying to figure out how they’re getting in,” he said.
Both restaurants are owned by Juan and Annele Mondragon.
