Perham captures third place at state tournament

ST. PAUL – Mark Schumacher scored 16 points and Jordan Cresap added 14 points as Perham prevailed in the Minnesota Class 2A state boys basketball tournament third-place game Saturday. The Yellowjackets defeated Braham 52-46 at the Gangelhoff Center.

Jordan Bruhn added eight points and 11 rebounds for Perham, which lost to Litchfield 33-31 in Friday’s semifinals.

Tyler Vaughan led Braham with 16 points and eight rebounds.
