Concordia College students to volunteer in Minot

MOORHEAD – Students and staff from Concordia College will spend the weekend volunteering in Minot through the “Flood of Love” campaign.

On Saturday, students from the college’s Habitat for Humanity chapter will assist at area homes.

On Sunday, Concordia representatives will preach in five of the Minot-area ELCA churches. President William Craft and the Revs. Tom Schlotterback, Tim Megorden, Ernest Simmons and Gretchen Anderson will deliver messages of support to the people of Minot.

Also on Sunday, the Concordia Orchestra will offer a free concert at 2 p.m. at the Central Campus at Minot High School. A freewill offering will be taken for the “Flood of Love” recovery campaign that benefits four Minot-area ELCA churches.

An offering will also be taken during the Senior Honors Concert on Saturday on the Concordia College campus to benefit Minot.
