Nebraska man charged with luring Fargo teenFARGO – A 40-year-old Nebraska man is accused of asking what he believed to be a 14-year-old Fargo girl on Facebook to send him a nude picture of her.
Michael S. Vallar of Kimball, Neb., faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted of the Class B felony charge of luring by computer filed Monday in Cass County District Court.
According to the Fargo police report, the mother of a 13-year-old girl had been accessing her daughter’s Facebook account when Vallar approached her online. The mother began instant messaging with Vallar, telling him she was a 14-year-old girl, the report states.
During the chat, Vallar claimed to be 40 years old and from Nebraska, the report states. He allegedly provided his email address and asked if the girl would take a picture of her panties and send him “a nude pic of you,” the report states.
After the mom contacted police, an investigator took over the chat.
