Body found along railroad tracks near GlyndonGLYNDON, Minn. - The Clay County sheriff’s office is investigating a dead body found along the railroad tracks this morning between Glyndon and Hawley.
Sheriff Bill Bergquist said his office was contacted by BNSF Railway around 7 a.m. when one of the conductors spotted a body along the tracks near Buffalo River State Park. Troopers investigated and found the body.
Some media outlets reported the individual had been hit by a train, but Bergquist said he couldn’t confirm that.
“We’re currently investigating, and not a lot of information is available at this time,” he said.
