Chief NDSU fundraiser announces his retirement plansFARGO – The executive director of the North Dakota State University Development Foundation and Alumni Association announced he plans to retire after 31 years.
Jim Miller will retire as director in June 2013 after holding the position since 1982.
According to an NDSU news release, Miller will continue to work on NDSU fundraising efforts over the next 15 months, focusing on the ongoing $32 million Competitive Edge Campaign for Bison Athletics as well as fundraising for the Commodity Trading Room in Barry Hall.
Miller helped the foundation’s endowment grow from $1.4 million to more than $100 million, the release said.
