Phoenix woman arrested after disturbance on flight to FargoFARGO – Fargo police and the FBI responded to Hector International Airport on Thursday after a woman allegedly assaulted passengers on an Allegiant Air flight from Phoenix to Fargo.
Officers were called to the airport at 5:44 p.m. about a woman who had assaulted several people on the airplane and was being restrained.
Cari Lynette Johnson, 45, of Phoenix, wasn’t being restrained when police entered the plane, but she became agitated after talking with officers and was handcuffed and escorted off the plane, Lt. Joel Vettel said.
The FBI, which was involved because the disturbance happened while the airplane was in flight, questioned the woman and released her to Fargo police, who took her to detox.
The woman’s behavior at detox prompted police to return about 15 minutes later and arrest her for disorderly conduct, Vettel said. She was taken to the Cass County Jail.
The FBI will decide whether to seek assault charges against the woman, Vettel said.
