Weekend watch: ‘Marriage Roulette’Friday through Sunday
Over the past few years, area playwright David Lassig has carved a farcical niche out for himself. He premieres his third comedic script in four years Friday night with “Marriage Roulette.” The play takes a spin to Las Vegas, where Megan (Phaidra Yunker) and Greg (Jeremy Ellsworth) are set to marry. The night before the wedding, they have their individual bachelor and bachelorette parties, only to wake up with other people. The Harwood Prairie Playhouse production promises to be something like the film “The Hangover”; but we imagine more family-friendly. The Sin City romp starts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Bonanzaville’s Dawson Hall, 1315 Main Ave., West Fargo.
The next two weekends Thursday shows are added. Advance tickets are $8 for Friday’s show, $10 after 5 p.m., with a meet-and-greet with the cast. All other shows are $10. (701) 298-6807.
