Four teens accused in robbery near Fargo elementary schoolFARGO – Police say four teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of robbing another juvenile Monday near a south Fargo elementary school.
Officers responded to the incident at 8:15 p.m. near Lewis & Clark Elementary, 1729 16th St. S.
Lt. Joel Vettel said an argument between the four suspects and the victim turned physical. Two of the suspects reportedly knocked the victim to the ground, kicked him and stole his backpack and cellphone.
The victim suffered a bloody nose in the assault, Vettel said.
All four suspects fled the scene and were located at a residence several blocks from the park, Vettel said. Two were taken to juvenile detention, and two were released to their parents. One of the teens also was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia, Vettel said.
All parties involved knew each other, he said.
