Minnesota State University Moorhead has hired Mark Yuran as chief human resources officer.
From 2006 to 2012, Yuran was a human resources officer in the Atlanta headquarters of the Technical College System of Georgia.
Yuran earned a bachelor’s degree in international economic affairs and French from the University of West Georgia and his master’s in human resources and organizational development from the University of Georgia.
Goldsteen to direct UND health program
Raymond L. Goldsteen has been named the founding director of the University of North Dakota’s Master of Public Health Program, a joint endeavor of North Dakota State University’s College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Sciences and the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Goldsteen comes to UND from the State University of New York at Stony Brook Medical Center, where he was the founding director of the graduate program in public health, head of the New York City-Long Island-Lower Tri-County Public Health Training Center at Stony Brook, director of the Center for Health Services and Outcomes Research, and a tenured professor of preventive medicine.
Goldsteen earned a doctorate of public health in sociomedical sciences from Columbia University. He also earned a master’s in sociology from Brown University and a bachelor’s degree in history and urban studies from Columbia University.
Absolute Marketing hires web analyst
Absolute Marketing Group of Moorhead has hired Travis Woyen as a web analyst.
Woyen attended Concordia College and previously worked for SEI, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Sanford Health, where he performed technical support, technical manual writing and website content development.
Bock named CCRI executive director
Shannon Bock has been promoted to executive director of Creative Care for Reaching Independence in Moorhead.
Bock has worked in a number of leadership roles at CCRI over the past 17 years.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Dirk joins Bremer as customer rep
Bremer Bank has hired Doreen Dirk as a customer service representative in the insurance team.
Dirk has more than 20 years of insurance experience and will work with commercial clients in the Fargo area.
Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson hires Guck, Rademacher
Kadrmas, Lee & Jackson has hired Jordan Guck to work as a civil engineer with the transportation group in Moorhead and Dominic Rademacher as a civil engineer to work with the survey group in Fargo.
Guck is a engineer in training who earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.
Rademacher earned an associate’s degree in architectural drafting and estimating technology from North Dakota State Community and Technical College, Wahpeton, and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Strand joins State Bank & Trust in Moorhead
Megan Strand has joined State Bank & Trust as a personal banking officer in Moorhead.
Strand is a graduate of St. Cloud (Minn.) State University and has nine years of experience in banking and finance. She previously worked for American Federal Bank and Country Financial.
BCBS hires director of product management
Blue Cross of Blue Shield of North Dakota, Fargo, has hired Zachary Keeling as director of product management in its marketing department.
Keeling earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Doan College, Crete, Neb.
He previously worked as the director of marketing administration at Coventry Health Care in Omaha, Neb.
Gate City Bank promotes three
Gate City Bank has promoted Stacey Herbel and Ari Weled to assistant vice president and Dovett Richard to assistant corporate secretary.
Herbel is a senior mortgage loan officer at the bank’s south Moorhead and Fergus Falls, Minn., offices. She has 10 years of mortgage experience and has been with Gate City for two years.
Weled is a personal loan officer at the bank’s Fargo Southpointe office. He has been with Gate City since 2006.
Richard is an administrative assistant in the bank’s senior management department. She has been with Gate City for 11 years.
Docu Shred hires compliance manager
Docu Shred has hired Kane Aubol as a compliance manager.
Aubol will be based in Fargo and will provide sales services and daily routing activities for on-site shredding services.
He studied management and marketing at the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, Minn.

Graves graduated in 2009 from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has four years of accounting experience.

Red River Software, Fargo, has hired Robert Lindstrom as a software developer.
Lindstrom graduated from North Dakota State University in 2011.
Fargo VA Health Care hires Weintraub
Fargo Veterans Affairs Health Care System has hired Dr. Breton M. Weintraub as associate chief of staff for primary care and specialty medicine.
Weintraub graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He worked in the University of Michigan Hospital system before joining the Madison VA Hospital in 2002, where he was employed as the chief of primary care and clinical associate professor.

Fraser Ltd. of Fargo has hired Melisa Banish as health services administrator and Melissa Romans as a residential coordinator.
Banish earned associate’s degrees in licensed practical nursing and registered nursing from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton.
Romans earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Livingood named GM at Oxbow Country Club
Joel Livingood has been named the general manager of the Oxbow Country Club.
He is a graduate of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He has worked for the country club for eight years, most recently as pro shop manager.

Insure Forward, Fargo, has hired Rose Krause and Kimberly Rogen as customer service agents and Larry Werlinger as an insurance sales agent.
Krause is a graduate of North Dakota State University and has more than 20 years of insurance and bond experience.
Rogen earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead and has nine years of insurance and banking experience.
Werlinger has over 25 years of insurance experience.
FirstLink hires Spahr as volunteer specialist
Laura Spahr has been named volunteer center specialist at FirstLink.
Spahr earned a bachelor’s degree in child development and family science from North Dakota State University and a master’s degree in counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary.
She previously worked for Lutheran Social Services and Project Renew doing outreach work with flood victims in Barnes and Richland counties in North Dakota.

Essentia hires Vang as operations leader
Essentia Health has hired Doug Vang as Senior Vice President of North Dakota Operations.
He will serve as the senior operations leader responsible for the West Region’s clinic and operations in Fargo and Moorhead, as well as Casselton, Valley City and Jamestown in North Dakota.
Vang earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a juris doctorate degree from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. He has more than 20 years of experience in senior health care operations and strategy. He previously worked for Imaging Solutions, Sanford Health and Banner Health.
