Julie Kottsick ALS Jam scheduled March 24FARGO – The third annual Julie Kottsick ALS Jam will be held at 6 p.m. March 24 at Fargo’s Davies High School.
The event will feature metro area senior athletes participating in girls and boys basketball games and a 3-point shootout contest. A raffle and silent auction are also planned.
The goal of the event is to raises awareness and funds for the ALS Association’s Minnesota/North Dakota/South Dakota Chapter. All proceeds will serve families in the region dealing with the disease.
Tickets will be available at the door at a cost of $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 6 to 12. Children ages 5 and under are free.
The event is named after a Fargo woman, Julie Kottsick, who was diagnosed with the disease seven years ago at the age of 36. For more information, visit www.juliekottsickalsjam.com.
