Oak Grove and Lindenwood pedestrian bridges will be raised ThursdayFARGO – The Park District here will raise the pedestrian bridges at Oak Grove and Lindenwood Park on Thursday.
Work will begin at 8 a.m. at Oak Grove Park, 170 Maple St. N. Staff will then move on to Lindenwood Park at 1701 5th St S.
Each bridge takes about two hours to complete.
The work is done annually to prepare for the Red River rising during the spring. Both bridges are expected to be back in use by mid-May, depending on road restrictions and river levels.
