Trade Talk: Pizza shop work nears completion
Deek’s Pizza is working with the city of Fargo’s inspections office to complete mechanical work before establishing an opening date for its store at 702 N. University Drive.
The business could open soon.
Deek’s already has a restaurant in Grand Forks.
Meanwhile, there’s word that a Tutti Frutti frozen yogurt shop is looking to open this spring in space that had been occupied by a Quiznos sandwich shop in south Moorhead.
The location, 908 Holiday Drive, is near the intersection of Eighth Street and 24th Avenue and next to a Qdoba restaurant.
Titan Machinery of West Fargo has acquired Adobe Truck & Equipment LLC, including three Case Construction dealerships in Denver, Colorado Springs and Loveland in Colorado.
Those dealerships will benefit from their new connection with Titan’s existing dealerships in Wyoming and Nebraska, according to a Titan statement announcing the acquisition.
“We are excited to expand the Titan Machinery footprint into Colorado. We see an overall solid growth platform with this acquisition,” said David Meyer, Titan’s chairman and CEO.
Founded in 1980, Titan Machinery owns and operates a network of full-service agricultural and construction equipment stores in the United States and Europe.
Cristen Voetlz has opened Hotdog! Pet Salon, a full-service dog grooming business at 635 1st Ave. N. in Fargo.
Voetlz has five years of grooming experience and specializes in bathing, breed cuts, creative styling and nail trims.
Hotdog! hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays; and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

Blue ribbon award
Heritage Homes of Fargo has been named a Blue Ribbon Small Business Award winner by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
The awards program, which is sponsored by Sam’s Club, honors companies that demonstrate excellent business practices in a number of areas, including strategy, employee development, community involvement and customer service.
Heritage Homes was one of 75 companies selected for the award this year from across the country.
