Last of 24 Native Mob suspects arrestedMINNEAPOLIS – Authorities say they have arrested the final defendant in their multicount case against members of the Native Mob gang.
Eric Lee Bower, 23, of White Earth, was arrested without incident Thursday in Minneapolis.
He is one of 24 suspected Native Mob members charged in January in a sweeping racketeering indictment that claims the defendants used violence and intimidation to keep the gang in power. Bower was the last defendant to remain at large and will likely make his initial court appearance today.
He was arrested by a multiagency task force led by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Gang experts say the Native Mob is violent, and has influence from the Twin Cities to reservations throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
