Balanced attack leads Augustana past MSUM at NSIC women's basketball tournament

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Six players scored in double figures as Augustana eliminated Minnesota State Moorhead in the first round of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women’s basketball tournament with an 89-77 victory Wednesday.

Emily Schulte scored a team-high 19 points for the Vikings. Molly Hayes added 11 points and 10 assists.

Angie Jetvig led the Dragons with 15 points, while Taylor Shepard added 14 points and 10 rebounds.
