2 men killed in southern Minn. crash identifiedAUSTIN, Minn. — Authorities have released the names of two men killed and a third injured when their car crashed south of Austin over the weekend.
Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi identifies the two men who died as Jacob Moe and Luke Unverzagt, both 32 years old.
A third man, Jason Fredrickson, was injured. Frederickson was in intensive care at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester Monday morning.
The three were driving early Saturday when their car left the road and crashed through a utility pole, a fence and a tree before coming to rest in a yard.
The sheriff says it's unclear who was driving, but speed was a factor.
