Teschendorf scores game-winner as Spartans top Packers for third

GRAND FORKS – Fargo North defeated West Fargo in double overtime 2-1 in the North Dakota state girls hockey third-place game on Saturday.

North’s Tara Teschendorf scored the game-winner on an assist from Megan Boe.

Goalie Kayli Strenstrom had a total of 26 saves for the Spartans.

Andrea Klug had 16 saves in net for the Packers.

FIRST PERIOD: No scoring.
