ND diploma mill swept under rug?A diploma mill in North Dakota, and supported by taxpayer dollars? It is hard to believe. But published reports so far support that is exactly what we have at Dickinson. This is disgusting. How could this go on without Chancellor Bill Goetz and the Board of Higher Education knowing about it? Or did they just look the other way?
This scandal cheapens college degrees granted by Dickinson State University and, to some extent, degrees from all publicly supported colleges in North Dakota.
There seems to be a tendency to just sweep this under the rug. That will not do. An investigation of how this happened and a public accounting is in order.
