AARP accepting applications for Women’s ScholarshipBISMARCK, N.D. – AARP Foundation is accepting applications from low-income women ages 50 and older for its Women’s Scholarship Program.
Women who are 50 years old or older and are seeking new job skills, training or educational opportunities have until March 30 to apply for the scholarships, which range from $500 to $5,000.
Applicants much be females who are 50 years of age or older as of March 30, “be a U.S. citizen, be able to demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled in an accredited school or technical training program within six months of the scholarship award date.
