Winona State halts MSUM's win streak

WINONA, Minn. – Michelle McDonald scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds to power Winona State to a 79-47 win over Minnesota State Moorhead in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women’s basketball Friday.

The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak for the Dragons (13-10, 10-9 NSIC).

Abby Busch chipped in with 19 points for the Warriors (16-9, 11-8).

Morgan Zabel had a team-high 11 points for MSUM.
