Lutheran Social Services hires IT director

Jim Adank has been named director of information technology at Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota, Fargo.

He has a master’s degree in physics from the University of Minnesota and has experience as a chief information officer and vice president in the health care field.

Gelling joins Terracon as department manager

Jason A. Gelling has joined Midwest Testing Laboratory, a Terracon Co., as the environmental department manager.

A graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a bachelor’s degree in environmental geology and technology, Gelling has 15 years of experience in the environmental consulting field.

Great North Insurance hires local agent

Great North Insurance in West Fargo has hired Rebecca Myers, formerly of American Family Insurance.

Myers has more than 12 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Applied Engineering hires 2 design engineers

Applied Engineering has hired Jameson Benson and Chris George as design engineers in the Fargo office.

Benson graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

George graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Centre Inc. promotes Collins to specialist

Ryan Collins has been promoted to residential specialist II at Centre Inc., Fargo.

Collins is a student at North Dakota State University, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology.

He has been with Centre for six months as a residential specialist I in the male unit.

Two join Far North Insurance in West Fargo

Aaron Hovland has joined Far North Insurance in West Fargo as a certified insurance counselor and Joan Behrens has joined the agency as a licensed insurance agent.

Hovland has more than 10 years of insurance experience and Behrens has more than 30 years of experience.

First Financial Bank names new president

Terry Kinneberg has been promoted to president and senior loan officer at First Financial Bank of Aneta, Sharon and Cooperstown, all in North Dakota.

Kinneberg received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mayville (N.D.) State University and has been in banking for 39 years, with 35 years of lending experience.

He joined First Financial Bank in the Aneta office in 2002 and previously served as senior vice president. He also serves on the board of directors for First Financial Bank.

International Marketing promotes two in Fargo

Jaclyn Duesterhoeft has been promoted to AdWords team lead and Adam Fugleberg to order fulfillment manager at International Marketing Systems in Fargo.

Duesterhoeft has been with the company since September and is also a student at the Minnesota School of Business in Moorhead where she is pursuing a business management and marketing degree.

Fugleberg has been with IMS for more than two years.

Cornerstone Bank hires administrative assistant

Angela Schlieper has joined Cornerstone Bank in Fargo as an investment service administrative assistant.

She has more than 10 years of administrative assistant experience and three years of banking experience as a loan servicing representative.

Widmer Roel hires Shaw as tax associate

Erin Shaw has joined the tax department of Widmer Roel in Fargo as a tax associate.

Shaw has a year of experience working in the accounting field and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Crookston.

Otter Tail Corp. hires financial manager

Otter Tail Corp. has hired Adam Wendorf as financial operations strategy manager in the corporate office in Fargo.

Wendorf has a degree in business from Concordia College and also completed coursework for a BBA equivalency in accounting at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.

Phoenix International A John Deere Co., Fargo, has hired Katie Wolfe as sales coordinator, Patricia Mohamed as an inventory analyst and Joseph Haman as a manufacturing engineer.

Wolfe received a bachelor’s degree in professional journalism from the University of Minnesota, Mohamed earned a master’s degree in business administration from North Dakota State University and Haman received a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from NDSU.

Baukol named logistics specialist at warehouse

Heat Transfer Warehouse, Fargo, has promoted Desi Baukol to logistics specialist.

Allstate names DeVold agency manager

The Allstate Insurance Co. Stocking Agency, 304 25th St. S., Fargo, has hired Glenn DeVold as agency manager.

He has 18 years of sales experience and has been a licensed insurance agent since 2008.

Knight Printing in Fargo announces three hires

Knight Printing in Fargo has hired Martin “James” Tinjum as a finishing cutter and die cutter operator, Travis Hopkins as shipper/receiver and Richard Freeman in building maintenance.

Tinjum has 18 years of experience in a range of bindery operations and was previously employed at Craftco Embossing and Die Cutting.

Hopkins previously worked for three years in freight handling and merchandise stocking at Walmart in Jamestown, N.D., and Fargo.

Freeman previously worked at Ag Country Farm Credit.

Boys & Girls Club of RRV promotes Maier

Kasey Maier has been promoted to program coordinator and preschool director at the Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley/Youth Commission.

Maier, originally from Elbow Lake, Minn., graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in physical education.

Eventide hires Uselman as administrator

Eventide Senior Living Communities, Moorhead, has hired David Uselman as administrator of its Eventide on Eighth campus.

Uselman graduated from Concordia College and was previously employed by Golden Living in St. Paul.

Erdmann joins IMS as tech consultant

Information Management Systems, Fargo, has hired Eric Erdmann as a consultant.

Erdmann graduated from the University of Mary with degrees in computer information systems, finance and business administration.

He was previously employed as an IT specialist and pro shop attendant at Hawktree Golf Club in Bismarck and also completed a network support technician internship with the North Dakota Information Technology Department.

Phillippi joins staff at Benson Psychological

Jay Phillippi has joined the clinical staff at Benson Psychological Services, Fargo. He will provide individual therapy, couples therapy and will oversee a domestic violence group as well as provide various forensic evaluations.

Phillippi received a doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from North Dakota State University.

He completed his accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Rochester, Minn. He worked for 19 years in law enforcement prior to receiving his doctorate and he is currently completing his residency.

Board of Ophthalmology certifies Fargo’ Keating

Dr. Anne M. Keating, an ophthalmologist at Essentia Health, Fargo, has received board certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

The certification is earned by demonstrating knowledge, skills and experience to deliver high standards in patient care.

Keating graduated from Concordia College and the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed an ophthalmology residency at State University of New York, Buffalo, and a fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at Harvard Medical School.

Aldrich earns document destruction certification

Mary Aldrich, sales manager for MinnKota Secured Document Destruction, Fargo, has achieved the certified secure destruction specialist designation.

The accreditation is the highest individual achievement in the National Association of Information Destruction industry.

MinnKota provides both mobile and plant based AAA certified destruction services and has been endorsed by NAID for computer hard drive destruction.

Employees earn various Cisco certifications

Five Corporate Technologies employees in Fargo have received various Cisco certifications.

Those receiving certifications are: Dave Loegering, certified design associate, express foundation system engineer and advanced unified communications system engineer; Jeff Coley, unified computing sales specialist; Doug Kirk, unity support and unity design specialist; Jared Langendorfer, certified network associate; and Derek Liljequist, certified design associate and advanced routing and switching system engineer.

Blatchford completes roller shade training

Elizabeth Blatchford of Solutions West Fargo has completed training on new roller shade automation systems from Mechoshade Systems at the company headquarters in Phoenix.

Blatchford has been involved in the commercial and residential blind industry for 10 years.

Solutions, formerly Floor Coverings International, has been in business in West Fargo since 1992.

CRS designation awarded to Zimbelman

Shari Zimbelman, Park Co. Realtors, Fargo, has been awarded the certified residential specialist designation by the Council of Residential Specialists.

To earn the designation, Zimbelman completed advanced courses and demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate.

Byram passes HP SAN certification exam

Chad Byram, sales manager with Network Center Communications in Fargo, has passed the HP Storage Area Network P4000 Solutions exam.
