Benefit in West Fargo tonight for Kirsten FlickWEST FARGO – A benefit for a 20-year-old woman who lost her voice to a rare tumor will be held today.
Kirsten Flick was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in her throat in November 2011. The tumor was removed but Flick must now breathe and talk through a stoma and prosthetic voice box.
The benefit will begin at 5 p.m. at the West Fargo VFW, 308 Sheyenne St.
The band BODA will perform and a silent auction will be held.
